Text Analysis 2, looks at and analyses a wide variety of types of texts in English, teaching the students to become competent in understanding and using a wide range of textual genre. The specific aim of this course is to teach students how to approach a literary text. Thus the texts are divided into three genres; prose, drama, and poetry.

At the end of this subject, students get an understanding of types of text analysis. The analysis of the texts starts from the study of the words, paragraphs, intertextuality, allusion. It also aims to analyze the context, symbols, main themes, etc.
