Description

European Criminal Law is part of a formative theoretical disciplines necessary for students, which aims to further develop and deepen the knowledge about the basics of a criminal law of the European Union, a right which for the sake of the truth until now is more present in the field of mutual cooperation and the mutual aid between different European countries than in an autonomous material legislation. This discipline aims to create a clear picture of the bases on which is built the new legal institutionalized model of the justice sector in the European Union. Currently for each European student that studies in law faculties in Europe, knowing European criminal law is not any more a curriculum luxury but it has become a legal imperative if you keep in mind the fact that the integration and strengthening of political institutions in each country, are associated also with the legal integration. European legal limits are a focal point for research for reaching in the common community. The course of European criminal law aims to introduce students to the fundamental and deep elements of the process of birth and the development of institutions and of a real European criminal law. During this course are treated the main challenges facing the European Union today in the field of crime, especially organized crime and terrorism.
