Description

This is not so much a course on how to write a thesis, but rather, how to write your own thesis. While there will some time devoted to theory, this semester study will be primarily focused on the application – the doing, the writing. By the end of this semester you will have accomplished a good portion of your thesis work. You will then have the time, in consultation with your thesis supervisor, for additional research and writing. This course will put you in a good position to successfully complete, submit, and defend your thesis at the end of your EDU MProf Studies.

Objectives

By the end of this course the student will have completed the following: • A working knowledge of APA Style Requirements; • Thesis Supervisor Assignment; • Thesis Abstract; • Notes on Ten Secondary Articles/Books; • Two Thesis Outlines; • Two Chapter Outlines; • One Chapter Draft; • Bibliography.
