Information technology (IT) plays an essential role in the formation and development of modern society today. Information Technology involves the gathering, sorting, analysis, storage, and transmission of any and all types of information using computers. It includes many different components, such as software, information systems, and the internet. Its usage includes business, education, health care, etc., and is spread over almost every aspect of our life. Good knowledge of information technology increases productivity and efficiency in work, decreases wasted time, and empowers the person’s capacity.

- Studentët në përfundim të kursit do të arrijnë të njohin konceptet bazë të Teknologjisë së Informacionit. Ato do të jenë të aftë të njohin pjesët përbërëse të kompjuterit, të njohin komponentët e rrjeteve kompjuterike, të përkufizojnë një databazë si dhe të ndërtojnë një database të sheshtë më të gjitha elementët perkatëse, te konvertojnë numra me system numërimi me bazë 10 dhe 2, të njohin portat llogjike si dhe të ndjekin llogjikën e daljes së tyre. Të kuptojnë teknologjinë Cloud dhe përdorimin e Tij, të dinë strukturën bazë të një faqe webi, si dhe të kuptojnë konceptin e markimit të një faqe webi. Gjithashtu studentët do të jenë të aftë të përkufizojnë ciklin e Zhvillimit të një Software.
