Description

Course Introduction to Theories of Translation at the Bachelor level will help students learn knowledge that are a function of determining the basic theories of translation, its types and related linguistic disciplines and methods, as the basis of solutions to problems translation into practice, oral or written, of different sub-category of this scientific discipline, to come to the aid of the construction and definition of theoretical concepts for strategy, strategic planning, effective management of the case. Introduction to Theories of Translation help in preparing for the implementation of a good return that can simultaneously apply to regain confidence in the usefulness and value that delivers progressive translation, to understand not just the words in return from one language to another, but processing critical of an experience, aptitude profit (valid for the future) to detect problems, to handle them methodically them and submitted them under some certain communication modes. This lecture course is intended to explain how to achieve a return that is based on the philosophical basis and the proper method, providing critical theoretical contribution about the usefulness of the foolish returns which, especially in our conditions, are helpful in studies, but also will help guide the way regarding how to work a specific paper. In short, the program contains sufficient amount of theoretical material, to give them practical importance, by which creates a stable foundation to build this kind of communication also intellectually.

Objectives

 The student will be satisfied that a translation depends not only linguistic context, but also something that lies beyond the text and we will call on world information or encyclopedic information. Petty obtains knowledge on the basic theories and research on proven methods of translation, namely approaching translation practices.  Adopt operational concepts to promote the acquisition of knowledge dealing with the selection of theoretical basis in designing translation skills as a modern preparation, without which it is difficult to align the students in terms of understanding, interpretation and the independence and exit the vicious circle of time.  Reach students applying instruments methodological, theoretical reviews allow passing on concrete actions in research, observations and translations of specialty terminology, compare to consecutive or simultaneous interpretation.  This course enables bachelor original action, independent of communication with past values, in other cultures, as well as the drawing of performing useful ideas for holistic development of culture, being friends with the theoretical basis and why not the technique and practice of translation, as a precondition of all other needs in communication, but also for the progress of scientific research works.
