Ky libër i prezanton studentët me fjalorin e ri dhe modelet e reja gramatikore duke i përfshirë në mënyrë aktive në diskutime aktuale dhe ne interesin e tyre, ku ata janë në gjendje të japin mendime, të përshkruajnë situata dhe të bëjnë krahasime duke përdorur gjuhë formale dhe joformale.

Ky kurs synon: - Të zhvillojnë aftësitë verbale dhe të të lexuarit të nxënësve - Te përmirësoje përdorimin e fjalorit duke mësuar strategji të reja leximi - T'u mësoje studenteve se si të shkruajnë letra, njoftime dhe tregime - Zhvillimin dhe përdorimin e saktë të gramatikës - Të eksplorojnë përmes leximit dhe dëgjimit kulturën amerikane dhe angleze dhe kulturat e tjera në përgjithësi.
