In this subject, various topics of Islamic morality are explained, which encourage the student in his formation and in his contribution to the contemporary society.

Morality, its Definition and Objectives. In this lecture, general definitions will be given regarding the terms that will be used in the Basics of Islamic Morals course. Terms such as ahlak, morality, edeb, ethics, good behavior, the difference between the terms halk and huluk. (Buykcelebi, pp. 1-25)

Characteristics of the ideal person/perfect person: this week will cover such topics that contribute to the students' ability to deal with the personal characteristics that a moral person should possess. To be an ideal example for the society where they live and beyond. (Buykcelebi, pp. 25-50)

Will, good intention, sincerity: one of the most discussed issues regarding man as a creature is his will, his desire or the ability to choose good or bad, right or wrong. Being such, it is very important that this will must be combined with his faith to be able to use it according to Islamic ethics and morals. (Buykcelebi, pp. 50-85)

Repentance and Asking for Forgiveness (Teube and Istighfar): The terms Teube and Istigfar are among the most familiar to the believer and among the most important as well. Therefore, in this lecture we will dwell in detail on these terms, aiming for the student to benefit from their religious perception.

The middle way, justice and the straight path: Islam is the representation of the middle way. In this lecture we will dwell on the term "tarikul Mustekim" the middle path which is the entire epicenter of Islam. (Buykcelebi, 85-100)

Courage, bravery and sacrifice: among the morals of the believer are also the courage, bravery and sacrifices that he displays from himself to be a useful believer for the whole society. This will be treated in general terms about: "shexhaa", "batal" "ithar". (Buykcelebi, pp. 100-125)

Forgiveness, tolerance: among the important issues are forgiveness and tolerance even in moments when we are able to take revenge for the injustices or mistakes that have been made to us. For this reason, we will elaborate and analyze the life of the prophet Muhammad in terms of being tolerant and forgiving towards others. (Buykcelebi, pp. 125-150)

Iman (Faith) and yaqîn: faith is the main issue for an individual. To seek different ways in order to strengthen his faith is the duty of every believer. For this reason, we will elaborate on some key terms such as "hakkal jakin", "ajnal jakin", iman, etc. (Buykcelebi, pp. 150-190)

Surrender, relying on Allah and tafuiz: the main terms in this lecture will be "taslim", "muslim", taufiz, tawakkul, which will give us a different perspective in relation to God. (Buykcelebi, pp. 190-210)

Generosity and Îthâr: among the main characteristics of a believer are generosity, self-sacrifice and generosity. In this regard, the main terms are jud, jevad, ithar, etc. (Buykcelebi, pp. 210-225)

Family relations and kindness to parents: among the most important in Islam are kinship relations and kindness to parents. In this regard, we will analyze the prophetic sayings and Quranic verses which clearly show us the value and weight that these carry. (Buykcelebi, pp. 225-240)

Professional morality, kindness and justice: justice is one of the divine attributes that Allah wants for people. Therefore he exhorts them to be just and faithful on the face of the earth. (Buykcelebi, pp. 255-270)

Gratitude: one should be thankful in every situation and for everything. By analyzing various hadiths and verses, we hope to present students with a clearer perspective on the importance of this morality. (Buykcelebi, pp. 270 -295)
