In this course will be treated: The study of the forms of tafsir that have arisen during the periods that have passed tafsir from the time of the Prophet (sas) to the present day. The meanings of the words tafsir and ta'wil. Tafsir and sources of tafsir in the time of the Prophet (sas). Tafsir and sources of tafsir in the time of the Companions. Tafsir in the time of the Tabiin; tafsir and isrâilijâti; Tafsir movements after the period of the tabiin. The first tafsirs and their impact. Study of authors who have written about the development of literature in parallel with this. Topics underpinning the methodology of tafsir, examples of the role of tafsir in the understanding of the Qur'an.

This topic deals with the ways and forms of the coming of divine revelation, the states of the Prophet (s.a.s) while receiving the wahi, the scribes of the wahi, the stages of revelation. - History of tafsir: the period of the first two generations; The Prophet (s.a.s) and the Companions. This topic will first focus on the ways of tafsir during the period of the Prophet (s.a.s), then will analyze the methods of interpretation of the Qur'an used by the Companions. The general features of tafsir during this period will also be described, the sources on which the Companions relied during the interpretation, and the names of the most prominent Companions who have dealt with tafsir will be mentioned. This topic will address tafsir in the period of the tabiun, the schools of tafsir during that period, and the peculiarities of the interpretation of the tabiun. Tafsir will also be treated in the period of the etbau't-tabiiun to the present day, mentioning some very important personalities of the science of tafsir who have made valuable contributions to the writing of the works of tafsir.
