Description

This course is designed to develop your understanding of, and ability to analyze, communication within families. The overall goal is to help you learn how through communication we develop, maintain, enhance, or disrupt family relationships. It will be discussed a variety of family forms in contemporary society, and we will review research onseveral issues pertaining to today’s families.

Objectives

3-Comprehend the diversity and variety of family structure and organization and the impact of that structure and organization on family patterns of interaction and communication within families. 4-Comprehend various theories about family interaction, and concepts within family interaction form communication perspective.
