This course provides students with strategies and practice needed to be successful at writing essays in academic level.

Objectives

By the end of this course in Academic Writing you will understand: The components of the task; What to do before you start writing; How to choose and narrow a topic; How to identify proper research materials; How to correctly cite material – hardcopy or web-based; How to take effective notes; How to structure an outline; How to structure a paragraph and essay; How to effectively edit your work toward final submission.
