The purpose of this course is to provide information to adults, children and their families to the learning and development of children by providing programs. Assessment of learning and development of children includes intelligent observation of children by teachers with experience and knowledge in order to improve the program. Evaluation is carried out minute by minute while adults listen, watch, and interact with children or groups of children. These observations provide us with basic information continued for a deeper assessment is an integral part of decision-making to meet the needs of children.

Planning, measures and evaluation can give us four types of information for children, parents, teachers, and programs. The course is a key strategy in general how to plan, to measure and evaluate: 1. Identifying children who may need specialized services. 2. Planning lessons for individuals and groups of children. 3. Determination of program improvement and staff development needs. 4. Assessing on how a program is implementing goals to children.
