Forensic medicine is the subject which studies man in his relations with law. It deals with the study, processing and resolution of medical and biological issues encountered in investigative and judicial practice. Analysis and detailed determinations are made about the object of forensic examination, the process of death and the changes that occur body after death, the manner of development of forensic examination of the corpse including examination, autopsy, exhumation, general data related to traumatology and complex trauma, mechanical asphyxia, forensic toxicology, medical examination in cases of sexual crimes, identification of material evidence and individuals as well as criminal offenses against health and the legal liability of health personnel in these cases. The program for certain lectures provides theoretical-practical seminars, in which the most relevant topics in the field of forensic expertise are discussed.

1. Acquisition of basic knowledge in the field of forensic medicine and criminalistics; 2. Classification of bodily injuries based on the means or mechanism of their infliction; 3. Know the basic concepts and distinguish between injuries during life and after death; 4. Detection, Fixation, Obtaining and examination of traces of biological nature; 5. Detection, Fixation, Obtaining and examination of traceological traces; 6. Legal categorization of bodily injuries.

- This topic will address forensic medicine, definition, content and objects of expertise. Forensic medicine deals with the study and elaboration of biological issues in the investigative and judicial practice. Objects of forensic examination are examinations of corpses, persons, material evidence and examinations based on the materials of the case; (Pg.20-28)
