The course will focus on explaining the main principles and institutions of public law, such as the state and law, the principles of state sovereignty, the separation of powers, the main characteristics of states and state systems.

Kjo lëndë synon të pajisë studentët me parimet e funksionimit shtetëror; të japë një informacion ëe gjerë lidhur me institucionet kryesore te shtetit dhe funksionin e tyre. Karakteristikat e shteteve te ndryshme dhe mënyra e funksionimit te tyre. Qëllimet e studimit të kësaj lënde është që studenti të: identifikojë, kuptoje, emërtoj dhe të dalloj konceptet themelore të së drejtës; të kuptoje thelbin dhe formën, si dhe elementet bazë, organet dhe funksionet e shtetit; të identifikoj dhe përshkruaj institutet themelore, parimet, funksionet dhe vlerat e së drejtës; të dalloj dhe të identifikojë llojet kryesore të burimeve të së drejtës; të grupojë dhe të identifikojë elementet e sistemit juridik; të njihet me qasjet themelore teorike ndaj shtetit dhe të së drejtës; të emërtojë dhe të përshkruaj teknikat themelore të së drejtës.
